We offer programs for the following age groups:
Infants and Wobblers (8 weeks – 18 months)
Toddlers (19 months – 3 years)
Preschool (3 years – 5 years)
School Age (6 years – 12 years)
INFANTS/WOBBLERS
Our infant program offers parents a familiar, safe, and nurturing environment for their baby. The small room serves as a space for various infant care activities, including napping and feeding, and is also used to soothe over-stimulated children. Infants are not permitted in this room without direct adult supervision. Programming for this age group is highly individualized, focusing on on-demand feeding, regular diaper changes (every 2 hours), tummy time, and multiple short naps.
We ask for a general schedule of your infant’s typical day upon enrollment. Daily records of your infant’s diaper changes and feedings will be logged in Procare. These will help us learn your infant’s usual routine and personality, and give you an idea of how the day went.
Parents are responsible for providing diapers, wipes, diaper cream, bibs, blankets, and at least two changes of clothing. Parents are also responsible for providing all formula, breast milk, and sanitized bottles.
TODDLERS
Toddlers are changing from a dependent baby to an independent child, and many physical, social-emotional, and cognitive skills are mastered during this time. The toddler program offers self-directed play and teacher-directed activities. Toddlers are not expected to engage in any particular learning activity; they will have a wide variety of activities to choose from. Toddlers will engage in teacher-guided learning experiences, focusing on shared play that incorporates age-appropriate sensory, fine motor, and gross motor activities, as well as math, science, and literacy activities throughout the day. Programming for this age group focuses on routines, with shorter, more frequent, and active play periods, sensory activities, and early social skill development.
Parents are responsible for providing diapers, wipes, two changes of clothing, a blanket for naptime, a sack lunch, and snacks.
Daily Schedule for Toddlers and Preschool students:

PRESCHOOL
Our preschool program for children ages 3 to 5 years emphasizes building confidence, positive self-image, and the social skills needed to work with peers. Throughout the preschool program, opportunities for physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development are presented through self-chosen exploration and discovery. The classroom is arranged into learning centers for the preschoolers to explore. In this safe, orderly, and stimulating environment, preschoolers will be able to work together to develop positive attitudes about learning, personal capabilities, and self-esteem. Preschool Children should be fully potty-trained before admittance. Programming for this age group focuses on structured learning, Kindergarten readiness, and longer, more complex, group activities.
Parents are responsible for providing a blanket for naptime, a sack lunch, and snacks.
See daily schedule under “Toddlers” above for preschool students as well.
SCHOOL AGE
Our school age program offers before- and after-school care for older children. We are on a bus route for Anne Wien Elementary School, which picks up in the morning and drops off after school in front of the building. During the school year, our after-school program offers a relaxed environment where children can engage in self-directed, age-appropriate activities. These options usually include quiet time for reading, homework support, art projects, or a simple science experiment. The focus is on providing a less structured transition after a full school day, allowing your child the freedom to unwind and choose their preferred activity. When staff-to-child ratios allow, and depending on the overall activity level of the group, school-age children may interact with siblings or children from other age groups. If a child seems unable to choose a constructive activity on their own, a staff member may suggest or provide a simple activity.
SUMMER PROGRAM
We provide school-aged and preschool children with a fun, interesting, hands-on learning experience outdoors on the playground as well as on occasional organized field trips. Our themes concentrate on outdoor education including a student-maintained vegetable and flower garden as the summer progresses. We provide an active learning environment where the children are able to connect our curriculum with the natural outside world. Lessons will both challenge the students as well as focus them on skills they have been learning during the regular school year.
